Our advisory includes matters of enforcement immunity, treaty interpretation, and foreign decision recognition. Hikma-Marefa recently advised a Middle Eastern state entity on immunity defenses and enforcement risks in the EU.
Joint Ventures & Strategic Transactions
Hikma-Marefa structures and negotiates strategic collaborations and public-private partnerships, particularly those that bridge jurisdictions and legal traditions. Recent work includes advising a European MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) company in a joint venture with a GCC-based equity investor, and supporting a multi-jurisdictional infrastructure partnership spanning Europe and the Gulf.
